Exhausted

Who can relate with me? I know many of you can. There’s so much to do and you feel you keep going, going, going, and yet, never feel like you can catch your breath.

Then, when there’s a moment to actually slow down long enough to take a breath, the realization of how completely exhausted and worn out begins to take over.

I have been so tired lately. Sometimes I begin wondering if my thyroid is out of wack again or if something else is going on with my body.

When it comes down to it, I know that I just need to step back and evaluate my life and figure out what is really important to me and to know I need to let go of some things.

You do realize that it’s ok to give yourself permission to relieve yourself of the responsibility to do it all? I would love to say I can do it all and do it well, but that’s not reality. I find myself getting to a point that I become overwhelmed with life. God, then, whispers to me, “You know this isn’t good for you? You need to rethink what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. Is it really that important?”

Learn to listen to those whispers God gives you. We aren’t made to do it all! And that’s ok. God is there for us. Learn to lean on Him and trust His guidance to choose the best and let go of the rest!

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.

Psalms 37:5
Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust Him, and He will help you.
