Tuesday’s Time Out: Trust 6-27-17

How often are you wrong? You thought you were right in what you were thinking, but you ended up being way off. Yeah, I’ve done that before too.
Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
Do you trust your own perception of the situation or do you look to God and what His word says? I admit, I’m not always the first to go to God. It sometimes takes me a few set backs or struggles to remember I should have gone to Him in the first place. I honestly don’t know why I choose God second or third or fourth. But, when I do, I recognize a deep need for Him and how little I really know.
Isaiah 55:8
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.

Psalm 25:4
Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths.

This is my prayer. I pray this for you and for me.

Go with me now and let’s look to God and trust His way is the best way to go.
